So the first day was not very eventful or full of things that got done but it did turn out to be pretty good trailer for what the next sessions will be like!
I talked a little bit about Git and hopefully convinced some SVN users to switch! Abhishek showed us the potential of NodeJS, we wrote a little JavaScript app using Brackets (it's awesome: http://brackets.io).
So today and a few other sessions will be about sharing tools and methods and knowing the potential of each other. In the next session, we will talk about Scala, Hadoop, some more NodeJS and visualisation tools. But all discussions will be open so I believe it will be a great Saturday!
